Construction continues apace at new Silos Cordoba facilities
Construction of the building that will house the manufacturing plant for silos and other grain storage systems, as well as the offices inside the industrial unit that will house the departments most closely linked to the manufacturing process, is almost completed.
First Silos Cordoba Uruguay’s Project for Venezuela is now underway
The first Project of Silos Cordoba Uruguay S.A. for Venezuela is now a reality, shipment of the material to Venezuelan Convaca Group has just begun. The new facility planned for the storage and drying of corn will have a capacity of 20,000 tons and a yield of 80 ton/h.
New Silos Cordoba factory in Brazil is starting to take shape
The new factory of Silos Cordoba Group is being built in Brazil, in the city of Cuiabá, Mato Grosso State. That region of Brazil is characterized by high production of grains, soybeans and corn, and internationally known for harboring a particular ecosystem, “Pantanal mato-grosense”.
Silos Cordoba’s new Headquarters and manufacturing facility
Silos Cordoba is building a new Headquarters and Manufacturing Plant in Cordoba’s Science and Technology Park Rabanales 21. The project consists of two buildings. The main building, designed to house the manufacturing plant and the other building, the administrative area, represents the corporate image of the company, and is designed by using its flagship product, a steel silo, as an architectural element.
Carlsberg’s Myanmar new malt and rice grain silos in operation
Malt and rice grain storage facility at Carlsberg’s new brewery in Myanmar is now fully operational. The storage facility includes 1 hopper silo 45º with a diameter of 4.58 m, 10 shells height and a capacity of 208 m3; and 2 hopper silos 45º with a diameter of 7.64 m, 15 shells height and a capacity of 876 m3. In addition, the silos are equipped with ventilation and thermometry system for maintaining stored grain quality.

Gandaria Starts Silo Installation of First Carlsberg Brewery in Myanmar
The new facility planned for storage of rice and malt will comprise 1 hopper silo 45º with a diameter of 4.58 m, 10 shells height and a capacity of 208 m3; and 2 hopper silos 45º with a diameter of 7.64 m, 15 shells height and a capacity of 876 m3. In addition, the silos are equipped with ventilation and thermometry system for maintaining stored grain quality.
Assembly of the Port of Montevideo Project signed with Obrinel SA to begin in April
Shipping of the material has begun and the installation of the Port of Montevideo Unit will start late April. On september 2013 we have signed the contract with Obrinel SA for the supply of complete turnkey construction of Montevideo’s port. The project consists of a storage facility of 200,000 tons for wheat, with the provision of silos, dumping platforms and boarding vehicle scales, conveyors, elevators and mechanical accessories, with a warranty of 12 months since its launch, for a total value of $ 60 million.
New and innovative storage plant installed in Kazakhstan by Silos Cordoba
Silos Cordoba, together with “KazAgroFinance” JSC and “HPP Tonkeris” LLP, presented their new facility in Akmola region of Kazakhstan, designed for the storage of 32,000 tons of grain. It should be pointed out that the complete project has been finished according to the deadlines, just before of the harvest season in the main grain producer regions of Kazakhstan.
