Gandaria is building Ferrero innovative silo plant in Chile, for the storage of hazelnuts of famous Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
Silos Cordoba is erecting an innovative silos facility in Chile, in the town of Camarico, for the well known confectionary company Ferrero.
The plant will be used for the storage and shelling of hazelnuts to be used to make the famous Ferrrero Rocher chocolates, hazelnuts cream Nutella, Kinder Eggs, etc.
The Project includes 12 hopper silos 45º, nearly 7 meters in diameter each, to store about 6,000 tons of hazelnuts in total.
The reception is performed through 2 hoppers equipped with 2 elevators of 30 ton/h each, that feed 2 rows of 6 silos each arranged in parallel.
The silo plant will be ready in April 2015.
