The “Cordobeses of the Year” award, presented by Diario Córdoba, distinguishes the work of individuals and companies that stand out throughout 2013.
Silos Córdoba has been awarded the ‘Cordobeses of the Year 2013‘ award in the category of Business, an award granted by the journal Diario Córdoba to distinguish those individuals and institutions who have stand out over the past year.
Among its values, the daily stresses – in its special supplement published in April 6 – “two decades dedicated to export”, “a key growth strategy that let them work in 34 countries”, and “the development of a research, development and innovation department installed in the Technology Park Rabanales 21, that has already presented its first set of machines.”
In addition, they also highlight the sustained growth of Silos Córdoba, despite the crisis, and the recent “Wings to Internationalization” Award that has been granted earlier this year by the Council of Economy, Innovation, Science and Jobs.
Besides Silos Córdoba, aeronautical Faasa Group and Rafael Carrillo – owner of the restaurant El Churrasco – have also been awarded in the category of Business.
The jury in the category of Business has been formed by Julio Hidalgo, manager of Diario Córdoba; Gabriel Pérez Alcalá, rector of the Loyola University of Andalucía; Luis Carreto, President of the Confederation of Córdoba; Manuel Enriquez, President of the Rural Safety Foundation; Javier Martin, chairman of the regulatory board of Montilla- Moriles; Jacinto Manas, Communications Director of Cajasur ; Jesus Morales, commercial director of Diario Córdoba; Businesswoman Maria Dolores Jimenez and Maria Olmo, Head of Economics at Diario Córdoba.
