Feed silos are a key component for efficient storage on livestock farms. We’ve recently completed the installation of two new farm silos with central outlet in El Burgo de Osma, in the province of Soria. Designed to streamline the feeding process, these silos help improve overall feed management on the farm.
Robust Materials and Practical Design
Both silos are built with galvanized steel with ProMag coating—an advanced alloy of zinc, aluminum, and magnesium that offers up to 10 times more corrosion resistance than standard galvanization. This technology not only extends the lifespan of the silos but also reduces long-term maintenance, making it a sustainable and cost-effective solution.
Connected to an Efficient Conveyor System
Each silo is linked to a spiral conveyor that delivers feed in a controlled and continuous manner directly into the barns. This setup is ideal for farms that require consistent, safe, and automated feed distribution, easing daily operations.
Adapted to the Farm’s Layout
The central outlet design and modular structure of these silos allow easy integration with existing systems on the farm. Their smooth-wave wall rings ensure efficient emptying and help prevent material from sticking to the interior surface.
