Silos Spain continues to expand its international presence with new projects across North America. This time, our team is carrying out the assembly of several galvanized metal tanks in different locations throughout Canada, supplied to a construction company specializing in piling and concrete foundation works.
The tanks installed are model 14.51/4, each with a capacity of 755 m³, built from corrugated galvanized steel with ProMag coating — an advanced alloy of aluminum, magnesium, and zinc that provides up to ten times greater corrosion resistance than conventional galvanized steel. This coating ensures exceptional durability and long-term performance, even in the harsh and humid conditions typical of northern Canada.
For this project, the steel sheets were manufactured with increased thickness to meet the client’s specific requirements, as the tanks are designed for the storage of sludge with a density of 1.2.
Tanks for piling and concrete foundation projects
These tanks will be used for the storage and supply of sludge during piling and foundation operations, where a steady and reliable flow is essential for drilling and concreting tasks. Their modular design and the precision of the assembly allow for fast, safe installation that can be easily adapted to different job sites.
