- Agrilink 2014, Pasay City, Philippines (09-11 October)
AgriLink is the agribusiness exhibition and seminars organized by the Foundation for Resource Linkage & Development, annually in October. From its first show in 1994, it quickly became the Philippine’s largest annual international agribusiness event, attracting hundreds of exhibitors and the highest number of visitors. A good number of foreign or international companies from the France, China, Korea, USA, Germany, Thailand, Netherlands and other Asian countries were among the exhibitors. Visitors consisted of entrepreneurs and professionals in animal breeding, machinery and equipment, animal health and nutrition, aquaculture, grains, organic farming, horticulture, among others.
In 2013, a total of 322 companies participated in the exhibit which occupied 488 indoor and retail booths within an indoor exhibit of 8,100 square meters and 4,000 square meters outdoor exhibit. A big portion of the exhibitors were local companies although there were also 144 sqm occupied by foreign companies from nine countries led by Korea, France, China, Thailand, Germany, Netherlands and Denmark.

- 65th JTIC International, Reims, France (15-16 October 2014)
AEMIC is the alumni association for technical schools and companies in the cereal industry. It was founded in 1925 by first graduates of the French milling school. AEMIC welcomes 1500 members from partner schools and professional of the Wheat-Flour-Bread sector.
The AEMIC reason why is to develop and maintain professional and friendly links between all actors of the cereal network. Its mission is to promote this sector in France and abroad by communication on its products, jobs and trainings through its 4 activities.
AEMIC organizes the 65th JTIC International, the Milling & Cereal Industries Meeting, that will be held from 15 to 16 of October at Reims, France.

- KazAgro – KazFarm 2014, Astana, Kazakhstan (27-29 October)
The Kazakh agricultural market has not yet exploited its full potential. The agricultural area of Kazakhstan comprises 80 m hectare, among them 25 m hectare farmland and about 50 m hectare pastures. Due to the low degree of mechanization the crop yields are way below its potential. To increase the productivity the government subsidizes the agricultural industry. Until 2020, up to 15 billion Euro are to be invested in this sector. The country is a large sales market especially for agricultural engineering – since there is no competitive local machinery production – as well as equipment and products for animal husbandry and for the meat and dairy industry.
Participation in the leading agricultural trade fair KazAgro/KazFarm opens up the possibility to meet with dealers of agricultural equipment and machinery, agrifood enterprises, representatives of politics and administration of Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) support this exhibition.
Exhibitions will take place on October 27-29, 2014 in the exhibition center «Korme» in Astana.
