Gandaria obtains the SONCAP certification for the sorghum facility that is under construction in Nigeria.
The Standard Organization of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Program (SONCAP) verifies the conformity of all products exported to Nigeria, obliging to comply with the applicable standards.
This program was introduced by the Federal Government of Nigeria to address the concern of unsafe products entering the country, and to protect the health and safety of Nigerian consumers.
The certificate is issued according to the goods to be sent, that is, by project. Gandaria has obtained the certificate for the sorghum storage plant being built in Nigeria, the first of the projects planned in the area.
