Poultry India is the most important poultry exhibition in that country. Gandaria Silos Cordoba exhibited by second year in a row in a shared stand with Zucami and Omega Weldedmesh, our farm equipment distributor in India.
With a population of 1.200 million people, this country is about to take an important step in the way poultry is produced. The majority of the production still rely on traditional farming. Mechanized production systems need to be extensively developed. This change is a long time expected one, however the poultry industry faces big challenges: Avian influenza, high prices of cereal and a devaluated rupee are undoubtedly important factors. But in the poultry industry everybody knows that eventually, sooner or later this transformation will occur and that train is not to be missed.
Here is an interview by Hybiz TV, India’s leading online Business TV, where I explain that we manufacture silos of all sizes and farming equipment in our facilities in Spain. In this particular fair, we focus more in our livestock equipment, specifically farm silos for the poultry business, either broiler or lair.
I also explained in the interview that our clients are basically farmers who are developing their own modern farm and are using a mechanized system.
